Logline: Legendary lawman, Bass Reeves, makes the toughest arrest of his career in the Indian Territory in the 1890’s.

Synopsis: Bass Reeves was born a slave in 1838 in Paris Texas. After the Civil War freed the slaves, he was the first Black man deputized as a U.S. Marshal West of the Mississippi. He worked for Judge Isaac Parker, the famous “hanging Judge” out of Fort Smith Arkansas from 1875 until Oklahoma attained statehood in 1907. Reeves made over 3,000 arrests in his time as a US Marshal and killed only 14 outlaws. The story focuses on the toughest arrest Reeves ever made, that of his own son, for murder!

"Jane Says"

Logline: A young couple learns what it takes to be true to their art, with tragic results.

Synopsis: John is a musician who writes most of his songs from life experience. Jane is a writer who writes to escape from the memories of her tormented childhood. When John's band of high school mates starts to make it big, Jane is alienated to the point that she turns to others for comfort. As John becomes increasingly preoccupied with his budding career, Jane turns to drugs to aid her escape. Finally, John is forced to deal with Jane's growing addiction and on the night of his triumphant return home, Jane finally finds the ultimate escape. For John, art always imitated life but finally he learns that life can imitate art as well.
